Cost:
£42,377

How it all started

Elemore Hall School is a special school for secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

They first reached out to us, eager to get started with a play area fit for the space and their students - somewhere their students could climb, explore, and build confidence through play. This was backed by their confidence in us, as we had previously built another playground for them at another site of theirs.

We were impressed with what you did for us last time - Richard Royle, Headtacher of Elemore Hall School

Wanting to get on with the project as quickly as possible, Elemore Hall School provided us with the dimensions, photos of the area, and some initial ideas. This allowed us to quickly turn around concept drawings within just a few days. While the summer holidays temporarily slowed the process, having the CAD drawing ready meant when the staff returned, we were ready to pick up where we left off.

The Final Design

After reviewing the design, they requested some minor tweaks—such as removing the swings to better suit their students’ needs. We made the changes and sent back an updated design and estimate.

Let the building commence

With everything approved, we scheduled the installation for the February half-term. This made the logistics easier, with no curious students around. However, we understand that holiday installations aren’t always possible, which is why all of our team members are fully DBS-checked for safe and secure work in school environments.

Everyone's happy

We wanted to create a space for Elemore’s students that would encourage both physical activity, imagination, and social interaction. A chance to have fun and take safe risks in a controlled environment. Their new playground design features a multi-tower fort—complete with bridges, a cargo net, a slide, a rock wall, and a gangplank—offering a mix of challenge, adventure, and fun.

We were thrilled to be working with Elemore Hall School again and couldn’t wait to see their students enjoying their new space—a place to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and let their imaginations run wild.
