The most common question we get asked is "how and where do I start planning a new play area?" And it's an easy one for us to answer - we'll help you!
Our team will walk you through every step of your project from consultation, to design, to build. So if this is your first time doing this or if you've managed many projects before, we've got you covered.
Before we even start talking about design, we want to get to know you. Tell us about your project, your goals and what you’d like to achieve, what you like and what you don’t. You’ll probably do most of the talking, and we’ll be taking it all in. The best way for us to really understand you and design you the playground you need, is to put ourselves in your shoes.
After our conversations, we’ll create a brief which our designers will use to create your playground design. It’s a document which covers everything we’ve discussed and will really give our design team an insight into you and what you’d like. We’ll share it with you just to make sure we’ve got everything noted.
This is our first opportunity to show you how our conversations have developed into a design. We’ve been designing playgrounds for a number of years now (since 1996), so you could say we’re the experts at it. When designing, all aspects are taken into consideration; requirements of children, safety, regulations and of course, the fun factor. It’s important to us that we design your play area just the way you want - making sure we use every inch of space and maximise every penny of your budget.
When you’re happy with the design concept, we’ll create your proposal. This document includes design plans, renders and a breakdown of the quote. It’s where we really go into the details and you’ll see our conversations come to life. You can also use this proposal to support your application if you're applying for funding.
When it comes to building your play area, our install team is second to none. After checking the space, we’ll lay out the components, this is where you’ll be able to see the size. It's at this point we usually get “wow, it’s bigger than I thought” (which we hope is a pleasant surprise). The team will get to work building your climbing frame, and before you know it...
The kids (and maybe the big kids too) will be climbing, swinging and sliding before you know it.
