We believe that outdoor play spaces have the power to inspire, nurture creativity, and unlock a world of learning beyond the classroom. Every school is unique, with your own vision for how children learn, play, and grow. That’s why we work closely with schools across the country to create bespoke timber play areas that not only bring joy and fun but also enrich educational experiences.
From quiet reflection areas and storytelling corners to exciting climbing frames that challenge and build resilience, our projects aim to turn outdoor areas into meaningful spaces outside of the classroom. We understand that play is not just a break from learning—it’s an essential part of it.
We’re sharing a small selection of projects we’ve creates for schools. Each project tells its own story—reflecting the school’s ethos, the children’s voices, and the possibilities that emerge with a bit of imagination.
A once unused corner of the playground is now a vibrant space for adventure, learning, and connection. With their bespoke outdoor classroom for learning outside of the usual environment, combined with the challenge of the clamberstack and the excitement of the spiral slide, this project reflects the school's desire to create a space where every child can explore and collaborate.
For this school supporting boys with social, emotional, and mental health needs, the brief was clear: create a space where pupils could build confidence, manage risk, and experience the therapeutic benefits of outdoor play. The result is a robust, nature-inspired multiplay structure that encourages resilience, teamwork, and adventure in a safe and supportive environment. From towers and bridges to cargo nets and rock walls, this project has it all.
We hope these examples spark ideas for your own school and show how thoughtfully designed play and learning spaces can have a lasting impact on children’s well-being, confidence, and sense of adventure.
