Fundraising comes in many different shapes and sizes, and is a great way to raise the necessary funds.
Involve as many people as possible, shout about your events from the rooftops and bring communities together. There are so many ways to raise money, from community events to the more ‘out there’ activities.
Involving families and friends, parents and teachers (and anyone else you can get onboard) is a great way to bring the community together to raise the much needed funds. These don’t have to be complicated or too time consuming, and more often than not, they’re fun for all involved.
Bake sales - put those ‘Mary Berry’ baking skills into action.
Non uniform days - great for the kids, especially if it’s themed. Could be characters from a book or film, or just an opportunity for the kids to not wear a tie.
Local businesses - contact local businesses and ask for their support, this could be monetary or donating a prize, or their service.
Sports days - one for the summer, whilst the children are taking part in the egg and spoon or sack race, sell refreshments.
World book day - any excuse to dress up as your favourite character (don’t forget to parents and teachers involved too).
Community & school fetes - this is a great one for getting everyone involved. PTA+ (the home of school fundraising) have some really great ideas to get you started.
Bag2School - a great way to raise funds using a resource EVERYONE has got in their wardrobe – unwanted clothes
